Absolutely the best! I priced granite installation and searched all over the Bay Area and they are the best. Great selection of granite and sinks.

I bought granite elsewhere (slabs) and they installed and it looks great. I have an entire wall of granite and they cut it with no seams! It weighed a ton at installation. Installers worked so hard and I was very impressed. Its worth the half hour drive to see the selection and savings. I would recommend to anybody and hope to use them again in the future.

I obtained six estimates for my kitchen, and Artistic Stone’s was the least expensive. The project manager was absolutely helpful, and worked with me to get exactly what I wanted. Gave me a great deal on a new stainless steel sink as well. I made a mistake on the measure of my backsplash, but the folks in the store sent out the correct size within the hour, and gave me the exact change in cost over the phone. The installers were very professional, and did a great job. I really couldn’t be happier with the results. I will absolutely consider Artistic Stone for my bathroom remodel next year.

Description Of Work: Artistic Stone was hired to install kitchen granite countertops in my 1970′s Northern California (Marin County) home renovation project.

Artistic Stone was hired to replace Formica kitchen countertops with granite. At every step of my transaction, Artistic Stone’s associates were professional, dependable and reliable. My plans to sell my home required that I renovate and update my kitchen. I decided to replace 40 year old Formica kitchen countertops with granite. After researching 12 companies, I found Artistic Stone to have the best price for top quality stone, fastest installation and most dependable and reliable team. It was critical that I work with the best company I could find because I had to negotiate my project long distance. Since I reside in Denver, CO and my home was in Northern California, I needed to work with professionals who would produce excellent results without direct supervision. Within 90 minutes of landing at Oakland International airport, I had arrived at the San Leandro facility, chosen my stone slab as well as shared my kitchen design and measurements. I emailed one small change and mailed the signed contract via overnight delivery mail service. Details were communicated via email, phone or fax. Further, no one was at my home when the granite countertops were installed as I was in Colorado. During installation, however, Artistic Stone emailed several photographs to me documenting the installation process. When visiting my Northern California home 1 week after installation, I found BEAUTIFUL countertops waiting for me. Artistic Stone did an EXCELLENT job of fabricating my countertops on site. The seams were extremely narrow and hardly noticeable. From my granite selection, the installation team considered the physical granite characteristics of each slab when fabricating the stone in order to complement the kitchen architecture. The result is granite countertops and edges that were smooth, even and beautiful. It was hard to avoid touching the countertops constantly because they were so beautiful. During my complete home renovation project, Artistic Stone was one of my top two vendors. My project manager/architect was the other vendor. I researched Artistic Stone’s company capabilities, products, stone quality, customer service, project results and Better Business standings. Most importantly, I trusted Artistic Stone to do a good job and they did not let me down. I will DEFINITELY work with Artistic Stone again on another existing rental renovation project. Make sure your cabinets are level and able to support the granite’s weight. Granite is heavy. Be clear and decisive about your granite and installation requirements. Document everything!
